Namaste and Greetings,
I’m Dipendra Simkhada, Co-Founder of Mount Face Nepal Treks and Expedition, and a dedicated tourism professional with over 15 years of hands-on experience in Nepal’s travel industry.
Originally from the remote district of Dhading, my early life in the hills instilled in me a deep respect for nature, community, and the transformative power of travel. I hold a Master’s Degree in Rural Development, and I am passionate about building a tourism model that is responsible, sustainable, and inclusive.
Since starting my journey in 2008, I’ve worked across nearly every role in the field — from storekeeper and hotel receptionist, to porter, licensed trekking guide, and cultural tour guide. These experiences gave me a 360-degree perspective on the real needs of both travelers and tourism workers.
I’ve proudly led trekking and cultural groups to some of the most iconic and remote regions, including:
- Kanchenjunga Region
- Everest Region
- Annapurna Region
- Langtang and Helambu
- Mustang Region
- Far Western Nepal
- Tibet – including Kailash and Lhasa tours
In 2024, I joined Mount Face Nepal as Co-Founder with a mission to provide exceptional travel experiences while championing the well-being of those who make it possible, especially our porters, guides, and local communities.
My core vision is to promote responsible and sustainable tourism that not only delivers life-changing journeys for our guests but also ensures fair working conditions, respect, and opportunities for all tourism stakeholders.
At Mount Face Nepal, we are committed to professionalism, ethical practices, and personalized service. I believe that quality tourism must be inclusive — where every traveler feels valued, and every guide and porter is respected, trained, and fairly compensated.
I warmly welcome you to travel with us — and experience Nepal through eyes that respect both the destination and the people who make the journey possible.
