This Everest Luxury Trek itinerary has been designed so that walkers can enjoy the splendors of the Everest region in comfort, staying in lodges en route rather than camping. Your journey starts in Kathmandu where you can begin your acclimatization and recover from the outbound journey whilst exploring this delightful city at the base of the mighty Himalaya.

Everest Luxury Trek begins from Lukla, but for that, you will first board a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. The flight fans your thirst for what awaits you in abundance in the days to come-- an unusual concentration of sky-piercing peaks including Mt Everest Summit, Himalayan glaciers, glacial lakes, and glacial valleys.

The superb views of sunrises and sunsets, the entire mountain wall glowing in color in the morning and evening, the crystal clear mist blowing at great speed across the mountain tops — all these and many more make this place scenically one of the most beautiful of the earth.

The height of Mt Everest, after all, is the impression it leaves on your mind as you observe it from different vantage points. You will discover that you do not necessarily reach Everest Base Camp to enjoy the beauty of the Everest region.

The lodges all have separate rooms with attached bathrooms and hot showers. From the gardens, there are magnificent views of the surrounding peaks. At the end of the trek, a charter flight from Syangboche is included avoiding the need to retrace your steps back to Lukla.

It is dedicated to Lord Pashupatinath, an incarnation of Lord Shiva, and is considered one of the holiest pilgrimage sites for Hindus worldwide. The Pashupatinath Temple complexstretches on both banks of the Bagmati River and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The main temple is a pagoda-style structure with a golden roof and intricately carved silver doors. It is believed to have been built in the 5th century, although the current structure dates back to the 17th century due to several reconstructions. The temple attracts thousands of pilgrims and devotees, especially during the Maha Shivaratri festival, which is one of the biggest annual celebrations held here. During this festival, devotees from all over Nepal and neighboring countries come to pay homage to Lord Pashupatinath and offer prayers and offerings. Apart from the main temple, the Pashupatinath complex includes various smaller temples, ashrams, and a cremation site on the bank of the Bagmati River. The cremation site, known as Arya Ghat, is an important location for Hindu cremations, and it is believed that the deceased soul will attain moksha (liberation from the cycle of rebirth) if cremated here. Second visit is to Bouddhanath and Lunch stop there Boudhanath stupa is one of the largest stupas in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is a very popular attraction among foreigners and locals alike; every day, hundreds of tourists and pilgrims walk in a clockwise direction around the stupa, under the protective eyes of Buddha. The giant stupa is one of the most beautiful spots in the capital city. And still today, it’s favorite area to wander in Kathmandu. Third and last visit is in Bhaktapur Durbar squire The Bhaktapur Durbar Square is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was once home to the royal family of Bhaktapur. Locally known as Khwopa or the ancient Newa City, visitors can explore the entire complex that consists of four different squares – Taumadhi Square, Durbar Square, Pottery Square and Dattatreya Square. Typical findings here are the Bhaktapur royal palaces along with several temples and other ancient structures dating back to the 17th and the 18th century. The entire square is a massive display of traditional Newari architecture. Every building is a work of art in itself and visitors are sure to enjoy exploring.
