Langtang Valley Panaroma Trek

Activities: After your arrival, our representative will meet you at the airport. Then you will be transferred to your hotel by a private vehicle from the Company. You will have a leisure period where you can visit the local shops at Thamel. Have dinner at one of the restaurants in Thamel at your own expense.

Activities: We leave Kathmandu in the morning after our breakfast at the hotel, for Syabrubesi. This village is a starting point for treks into the Langtang Valley. Our journey will be on a twisting road through frequent shifts. If the weather is clear, you will get to witness outstanding views of Manaslu, Annapurna, and Ganesh Himal. Overnight in the small village of Syabrubesi.

Activities: This is our first day of trekking. We will have our breakfast at the lodge, then start our trek crossing through the Bhote Koshi River flowing down from Tibet and following the Langtang Khola. We ascend and descend simultaneously. After crossing the suspension bridge over Langtang Khola, the trail gradually ascend up to Bamboo passing through landslide. Passing through the forests of oak and rhododendron, we trek gently to Rimche (2400m) and reach Lama Hotel for the overnight stay.

Activities: We have our breakfast and continue to ascend from Lama Hotel enjoying the mountain landscape with plenty of waterfalls and a gentle climb. The glimpse of Langtang starts appearing along with the other peaks as we reach the green meadows of Ghora Tabela. The trail continues to climb up the widening valley, opening up into classical U-shaped glacial, yak pastures, rhododendrons and dispersed Tamang villages. Reaching Langtang Village, we will see the valley surrounded by stone walls and buckwheat, turnips, potatoes fields and yaks and goats grazing around the pastures. Overnight at Langtang Village

Activities: After breakfast, we will start our journey to Kyangjin Gompa passing by water mills, prayer wheels, chortens, with sacred mounds of rocks with inscriptions carved on them. Kyangjin Gompa is a principal monastery of the region.  You will also pass by the largest mani wall in Nepal, made from stone with prayers written on them. The surroundings of Langtang valley also has the famous Government operated Cheese factory. After lunch we will explore the splendid panoramic views of Langtang Lirung (7246m), Genjempol, Kyangjin RI (4750m.), Tsergo RI (5000m.), Ganja la (5160m.), Langshisa- Ri (6427m.), Dorje Lhakpa (6430m.), Naya Kang (5844m.), Yala peak (5500m).

Activities: Today is a rest and a short hike day. After breakfast at the lodge, we will visit the monastery and hike up the moraine to see the spectacular ice faces and headlong glaciers of Langtang Lirung or ascend Kyanjin Ri (4350m) and Tserko Ri (5,000m), which is the highest point of this trek. The trail passes through yak pastures before ascending to Tserko Ri. ascend slowly to avoid breathlessness. The sunrise view from the top of Tserko Ri is incredible with aureate rays. After exploring, we will return to the lodge and spend the overnight.

Activities: Today we will descend to Lama hotel following the same route as previous. Passing through the forests and Tamang villages, you will witness splendid views of the snow-capped mountains we missed on the way up. Dinner and overnight at Lama Hotel.

Activities: Following the same route while ascending, we will return back to Syabru Bensi. It is an easy trek descending downhill through the lush green vegetation and hills. Syabru for overnight stay.

Activities: We will have our last breakfast at the Himalayan region, then drive back to Kathmandu through the road passing terraces, local settlements and dramatic scenes of high hills along the Trishuli riverside. Take rest and a hot shower after reaching your hotel in Kathmandu. Mount Face Nepal will have organized a traditional Nepali dinner for you as a farewell. The dinner will be followed by a cultural performance. Last night at Kathmandu.

A private vehicle from Mount Face Nepal will drop you off at the airport after you are done with your breakfast at the hotel. Our tour operator will bid you goodbye in a traditional way. Have a safe flight!
