Day 01: Pokhara to Lower Sinuwa(2140m) - 67 KM / 8-9 Hours.
The First Day of Pokhara to ABC Trek Routes Start with drive to Jhinu Danda from vibrant street of Lakeside. Real Hiking start from Jeep Station before longest suspension bridge of Annapurna Region and end at Sinuwa. The first day routes offer stunning view of various mountain and magical landscape with local atmosphere of Nepal Hilly region and also stair will test your strength. Stage 1: Drive to Birethanti(1025m) Via Nayapul(1070m) [46km/1 H:45 Minutes]
This is the beginning our 6-day Adventure to Annapurna Base Camp from Pokhara. Our Team will arrive your hotel to pick then drive towards Jhinu Danda. This section of ABC trek is smooth drive to Birethanti Via Nayapul.
Once you leave Pokhara- Routes follows the Pokhara Baglung Highway till Nayapul, offering stunning mountain view with picturesque roadways. It passes through the Hemja Village, Kande, Lumle Village before reached Birethanti. The Road that penetrates the Hemja Village is wide and very smooth and shrink in Ghattekhola bridge.
The Routes will follow gradual up till to Kande then gradual down to Nayapul Before final push to Birethanti. Paudrukot is the best view point of today, provides magical mountain view with terraced field.
Birenthanti is located in the bank of two reiver Modi Khola and Bhurungdi Khola at the altitude of 1025m.

Stage 2: Register your Permit at Birethanti then Drive to Siwai (8-9km/75% Paved)
Birethanti is the first check point during Annapurna Base Camp Trek from Pokhara. We need to stop to register permit then keep following Modi Khola towards Siwai. This part of drive is 75 % paved and 8-9 Kilometers long with scenic view.
You will see beautiful water falls on your left just after 6-7 minutes’ drive with canoeing services while modi khola gives you beautiful vibe from your right. If you are interested, can do canoeing on return.
15-20 minutes’ Drive Takes you near to the Bank of Modi Khola. It is a perfect spot to stop and have local tea with heavenly river view. The sip of tea warms your body while scenery soothes your mind: a perfect balance of Nature and Comfort.

Stage 3: Drive from Siwai to Samroong Jeep Station (Off Road Drive)
This part is final section of drive during Annapurna Base Camp Trek route from Pokhara. It is approximately 9 km and unpaved one hour road drive. While driving to Samroong, you can see village activities, lovely terraced field with mountain on backdrop. River and Forest.
Reach Samrung, just before Jhinu Suspension bridge over Kyumrung Khola. Samrung has some tea shop and local guest house too.
Stage 4: Trek from Samroong to Jhinu Danda(1530m/700m.) Via Jhinu -Danda Suspension Bridge(287m).
Once you get down from Jeep, enjoy the view of Jhinu Danda with stunning mountain on its backdrop. Do Not Forget to get all belongings from Jeep. This is the starting of adventure to Annapurna Base Camp. Few Minute easy walk takes you Jhinu Suspension Bridge which is the longest suspension bridge of Annapurna Region with 287m length.
While crossing the suspension bridge, you can see valley on your right and left, with Kyumrung khola flowing below and a beautiful local settlement around.
Well set up staircase will welcome you on the other end of the suspension bridge that led you to Jhinu Dana. Take it easy and keep going slowly, it is beginning of uphill for today. Just 10 minutes up hill takes you at Jhinu Danda. Perfect place for rest and refreshment drink before climb to Chhomroong. Chhomroong Village is biggest Gurung Village of our ABC trek routes.
Stage 5: Trek From Jhinu Danda (1530) to Chhomroong(2170m)
This part of the trail is the hardest part of the day during Annapurna Base Camp Trek from Pokhara. It is around 1.8 Kilometer till Chhomroong but totally uphill with beautifully manage staircase. Do not Give Up, Every Step you go further takes you near to Annapurna Base Camp and maximize the beauty of the Valley.
Keep in mind that, walking slowly is not a problem, it is the symbol of the success. Jhinu Danda to Chhomroong Hiking Part test your mental and physical strength. This section of trekking offers stunning valley view and gives chance to see local farm and farmers. In between, you will see rhododendron flower tree. Rhododendron is National Flower of Nepal.
Chhomroong Village offers excellent view of Mount Fishtail and Annapurna region. This Village is biggest Gurung village in trail to ABC. From Hotel Excellent view, can see trail to Lower Sinuwa.
Caution: While climbing staircase, make sure you are always on safe side. You may encounter many donkeys coming down from Chhomrung.
Stage 6: Chhomroong(2170m) to Chhomroong Khola Bridge(1850m)
The trail from Chhomroong to Chhomroong Khola Suspension Bridge is the best part of the day during Annapurna Base Camp Trekking from Pokhara. It offers typical Gurung village on left and right with stunning mountain view. Chhomroong Khola Suspension Bridge is located at the bottom of Chhomroong Village at the atltitude of 1850m and it is second bridge you need to cross during ABC trek.
The trail leading to Chhomroong Khola from Chhomroong Village goes downhill with 2178 steps. Stupa, Chorten and Chaitya with hanged prayer flag provided spiritual feel during walk down from Chhomroong. It is a perfect blend of Nature, Culture and History.
Stage 7: Chhomroong Khola to Lower Sinuwa(2140m/ 1 KM )
Take a Break before pushing final step to reach Lower Sinuwa. You will get a local house right after suspension bridge with some terrace field. Toilet is available at Local House, Please Pay some amount, if you use it.
The Stone Staircase is just in front of you. It is not long uphill but one more uphill will be there before you reach Lower Sinuwa, also Known as Bhanuwa.
If we don’t count two uphill, other trail is gradual uphill or gentle trail with beautiful surrounding. It will take approximately 45 minutes to reach the lodge- You can have Sunset View of Mt.Fishtail top on your back and Beautiful Chhomroong Village on your front.
It is long day but it brings you near to Annapurna Base Camp. Perfect Stop for Day 1 of Annapurna Base Camp Trek from Pokhara.
Day 02: Lower Sinuwa(2140m) to Himalaya (2900m/10-11km/6-7 Hours)
Second Day of Annapurna Base Camp Trek from Pokhara takes you Himalaya situated at 2900m from Sea Level. Trail condition from Lower Sinuwa to Himalaya is the perfect blend of stairs, ups and down, gentle, Bamboo Forest and Lush Forest with holy monuments. It offers extra ordinary view of Mt. Fishtail, Annapurna Range and towering peak. This part of the trail is interesting with different kind of flora and fauna with beautiful waterfalls and Holy Temple.

Stage 1: Lower Sinuwa(2140m) to Upper Sinuwa(2340m)
In the quiet of the mountains, you wake up to the sweet sound of birdsong-nature’s own gentle alarm clock then have breakfast before you start your journey to Annapruna Base Camp. This section is first hardest part of the day that includes continuous stone staircase up to Upper Sinuwa.
This section of Annpurna Base Camp Trekking Route offers closer view of Mount Fishtail and Beautiful horizon with Chhomroong Village. You may encounter sheep and goat herd while climbing up to Upper Sinuwa.
If you are walking in spring season, you will blossomed rhododendron flower. Rhododendron flower is national flower of Nepal.
Afterall, Maximum an hour walks on the ascended stairs, you will be honored by great view of Mt. Annapurna, Gangapurna, Ghandharva Chuli, Annapurna South and Mount Fishtail. Can see Doven and Upper Doven in between forest from Upper Sinuwa.

Stage 2: Upper Sinuwa(2340m) to Upper Dovan (2600) [7 km/3 Hours]
The Second Stage of Day 2 during Annapurna Base Camp Trek from Pokhara takes you Upper Doven. This is easiest section of the Sinuwa to Himalaya Trek Route, offering gentle trail condition with forest walk crossing numerous small wooden and iron bridges. In between, we can see glimpse of Mount Fishtail and Some other peaks with continuous sounds of Madi River on your right.
Little ups and down is always there inside forest but not long one. This route includes Bamboo and Doven before we reach Upper Doven. It is always special due to higher chances to encounter wildlife like Red Panda, Langoor Monkey and numerous types of birds.
The Most Notable staircase is the one just before Bamboo, otherwise walking to Upper Dovan is comparatively easy. Remember, you have entered holy region of Annapurna Trek Route that do not allowed dry meat from Bamboo. Always consult with your guide before you take any kind of meat after Bamboo.
Overall, Upper Sinuwa to Upper Dovan trekking part is perfect and gentle with friendly trail condition, water fall, mountains, flora and fauna.
Stage 3: Upper Dovan to Himalaya(2900m) Via Pojenhyam Baraha Temple (2.2 km)
Once you had lunch at Upper Dovan, you will walk towards Himalaya via Pojenhyam Baraha Temple. The trail gradually ascends through a dense forest until you reach Baraha temple. Approximately 50 minutes and 1.4 km walking takes you at Baraha temple. It is also known as Shaktipith that protect Annapurna region with natural calamities and unforeseen accidents.
The Holy place is naturally adorned with 108 water falls just opposite side of the temple, naturally it is magical falls where as Hindu Worshiped as Symbol of Bishnu.
After this holy site, the trail extended with staircase. The Staircase is well managed. Approximately 30 minutes hike on uphill trail you will get gentle trail then can see Himalaya at Distance. With in 10 minutes after you see Himalaya, you can reach Himalaya.
Perfect place to spend a night.
Day 03: Himalaya(2900m) to Annapurna Base Camp[4130m/9km]
Day 3 of Annapurna Base Camp from Pokhara route takes you ABC via Deurali and Machhapuchhre Base Camp. Today, you will cross the tree line and walk on alpine trail with closer view of mountain range. Each step forward pulls the base camp nearer, silence settles around you, and the giant mountain inspires you. Slowly but continues effort will take you on your destination. Ups and down is always there in every stage. Accept it and move on to achieve your dream project.
Stage 1: Himalaya(2900m) to Deurali [3200m/2.1km]
Have early breakfast to reach Annapurna Base Camp on time to avoid unfavorable weather condition before you reach ABC. The warm breakfast gives you enough energy to walk towards Deurali. The trail to Deurali from Himalaya got stone steps and thin tree zone with spotted bamboo forest.
Once you start to climb up, you will see towering black hill around decorated with beautiful water falls. Can hear peaceful song of River, rushing to reach ocean and birds make atmosphere romantic too. This is also avalanching risk zone, always be aware during heavy snowfall time.
About 40 minutes’ walk on stone stairs, you will reach Hinku Cave. It offers clear view of Deurali and Mount Fishtail where can see beautiful waterfall on your left-front. Have a break, drink water then walks gradual down and cross the small spring before you start gentle up to reach Deurali. You may need crampon on this section. Most of the time, we find glacier just after Hinku Cave.
It is perfect spot to take tea break and re-energized. While taking sip of tea, you can explore hills around you. You will see statue of self-created lord budda on your front right hill. You have left the tree line behind, you may feel altitude from this section.
Stage 2: Deurali(3200m) to MBC (3700m/3.9km]
Deurali to MBC is another beautiful walking section during Annapurna Base Camp Trek from Pokhara that takes you Machhapuchhre Base Camp. MBC is one of the best spot during Pokhara to ABC trek offers rotating mountain view including Annapurna I and Mt.Fishtail.
The trail goes slight downhill before we go gentle uphill with mix staircase and natural trail. To walk this section, always consult with local people for safety reason. For the heavy snowfall season, trail goes more downhill to meet river, cross the iron bridge and hike uphill. It is Safer trail than original trail.
After 30-40 minutes of gentle ascend, you will reach wide valley with outstanding mountain view on your front where tall black hill on left and right. If you try to see wall of black cliff, you may see wild bee hive. Keep walk on the beautiful trail of the section, enjoy every step with caution.
The trail again follows the gentle to acute uphill to take you at MBC. You will see beautiful river valley on your back. It is just magical moment of this ABC trek from Pokhara routes.
Once you reach MBC, order lunch then explores around. Spend at least 1 and half hour to adjust your body with altitude. If you do not have headache or other symptoms, your ok to go forward.
Stage 3: MBC (3700m) to Lake (3920m/1.2 km)
Once you are fit to move, walk slowly towards ABC. This section includes gentle trail and Stone Staircase offering nearest view of Mount Fishtail, Annapurna III and Ghandharva Chuli on your behind.
After you walked approximately 1.2 km, you will reach small lake from where you can navigate the Annapurna Base Camp. Small lake offers magical reflection of Annapurna South, Mt. Fishtail and Surrounding peak.
Stage 4: Lake(3920m) to ABC (4130m/1.8km)
This is the final stage of Day 3 on Annapurna Base Camp trek from Pokhara routes. It takes you at the ultimate point of the project. Nearly 2 kilometers and 1.5 hours gradual uphill walk let you reach ABC. It is your dream project, feel it and record it. Congratulation for Your Achievement.
Lodges are set up just few minutes uphill after sign board of Annapurna Base Camp. Check in and explore around glacier view point. It is magical spot of the journey that provides fairy tale view of Annapurna Sanctury. Just amazing. Always be careful, when you go glacier view point. Edge of the view point may be loose, do not go edge in any case.

Day 05: Bamboo to Jhinu Danda [9km/1760m]– Explore Hot Spring(1599m)
The trail to Jhinu Danda from Bamboo is same as you climb from Jhinu. Just walk carefully. Once you reach Jhinu Danda, check in at lodge then walk gradual down to Hotspring. It is approximately 1 kilometer down from Jhinu and located at altitude of 1599m.
The trail is well managed stone staircase with rain forest. The birds sing, the modi River Play music and the tree dance enroute to Jhinu Hot Spring. Get Back same way to spend night at Jhinu.
Day 06 : Jhinu Danda to Pokhara [62 Km]
The route of Day 6 during Annapruna Base Camp from Pokhara is same as we go up. Just relaxed and enjoy the return Journey to Pokhara.
